The rice field workers of Vercelli embody the collective struggle against oppression. The use of transparent fabrics, rice husk, and earth in the installation evokes their stories, intertwining memory, rebellion, and a deep connection to the soil. This land, once home to archaeological artifacts, now holds within it the traces of both historical objects and the ongoing struggle for justice. The soil beneath the feet of the rice field workers bears witness to centuries of resistance, connecting the past and present in a continuous cycle of resilience and rebellion.
