Material ecologies of soil, salt, and glass trace Genoa’s colonial legacies, where rebel figures in soil inscribe a cartography of extraction, and resistance. Salt indexes colonial monopolies, soil carries dispossession as witness, and materials enact a posthuman dialogue linking human struggle to broader relational systems. The installation foregrounds decolonial praxis, revealing how bodies, materials, and histories are co-constituted under coloniality.
